IEX Cloud Enters Into Referral Agreement

Dear IEX Cloud Customer,
We founded IEX Cloud with the belief that financial data should be widely accessible to investors to provide greater market transparency.
Since the launch of this initiative, we have seen the market data industry grow and several barriers to financial data come down (and there is still work to be done in this area). What started as a project at IEX morphed into a business, and after a thorough review of this business and comparable data alternatives, we have made the decision to retire all IEX Cloud products on August 31, 2024.
This decision allows IEX to focus on the growth of our core exchange business as IEX Cloud was running at a loss and represented less than 2% of IEX Group overall revenue. To avoid any confusion, IEX Exchange’s high quality market data will continue to be available through other data platforms (as it is today).
To help our IEX Cloud customers with this transition, we have entered into a referral agreement with Intrinio, a full-service financial data management company. Intrinio will provide IEX Cloud users an extended 45-day free trial period to evaluate its system and financial data bundles. Intrinio provides financial data solutions that are largely comparable for most IEX Cloud users. Intrinio will endeavor to match current pricing levels for IEX Cloud customers when purchasing like for like data products from Intrinio. As mentioned above, IEX Exchange market data will also be available through Intrinio (as it is today).

Other key facts that you need to know:
- IEX Cloud financial data products along with account support will conclude on August 31, 2024, for customers with existing monthly subscriptions.
- IEX Cloud financial data products along with account support will conclude on August 31, 2024, for customers with existing annual subscriptions. Accounts will be prorated for the year, and balances will be refunded to your payment method on record.
- Customer agreements with IEX Cloud will terminate on August 31, 2024.
