Apperate rules enable you to respond to real-time events and share or persist event facts via alerts. The Create a Rule wizard makes it easy to filter on real-time events and deliver alerts. Below is an alert email from a rule based on the example Stock Screener rule–it’s available in the console Home.

The Create a Rule wizard has the following workflow:

1. Set event conditions to trigger your rule.

2. Set an alert to deliver content on rule-triggering events.

3. Review your rule and launch it.
